Asset Home Page Module

Overview

The Asset Home Page is the landing page the user is directed to after logging into the iTwin IoT web application and selecting an Asset from the Assets Overview Page. This page includes the navigation bar options available throughout the platform. For an overview of these navigation options, review the iTwin IoT Navigation Bars Overview article. The Asset Home Page includes project information in the form of cards and notifications.

This article will cover the following topics:

Asset Overview Cards

A series of Cards is visible on the left side of the Asset Home Page. Each card presents information for Alert Status summary, Sensor Count statistics, Alert Count statistics, Offline Sensor statistics, Connection Communication statistics, and Connection data usage.

These cards allow different types of interaction to perform actions and further evaluate the data presented. The Alert Summary card allows the user to navigate to an Alert by clicking on it, or perform actions on the Alert by clicking the icons next to the Alert name (for more information regarding alerts, please visit the Alerts section of the support articles). The statistics pie chart cards allow the user to hover over different pie pieces to view counts and filter the pie chart by selecting/deselecting the legend names. The Offline sensor card count can be altered by changing the time filter for the duration of time sensors have been offline.

Editing the Asset Overview Cards

The Asset Home Page Cards can be edited to change or add additional cards available on the Asset Home Page.

Clicking the Pencil icon directs the user to a Dashboard Editing page, illustrated below. Clicking the Pencil icon once again allows the user to edit the Cards. For more information regarding manipulating these cards, please visit the Dashboard Card Configuration page.

Notifications

The Notifications window provides the user with information from Modules across the application. At this time, the Notifications apply only to the Issue Resolution module.

1. Filter Notifications- The user can select to options to make All read and unread notifications visible or to only display unread notifications.

2. Group By- Notifications can be grouped by the Date the notification was created or by the category of the notification type. This will change the options available to the user in the Sort Option selection.

3. Sort Option- The Sort Options are dictated by the user's selection in the "Group By" selection. If "Date" is selected, the sub-folders will be time-dependent. If "Category" is selected, sub-folders will be grouped into Issue categories. At this time the only "Category" type is "Form".

4. Issue List- This list provides information regarding Issues assigned to the user and user-assigned issues that have been edited or updated.

5. Bulk Select- The user can elect to "Mark All Read" on the bottom part of the window. This will change the notification statuses of all unread messages to read.
