Overview
Assets house sets of sensors, maps, models, and data for a given project. This article will guide the user in setting up a new Asset.

Adding an Asset
Adding an Asset can be accomplished from the Asset Overview page, a user can click on the "Register Asset" button in the upper right corner.
Configuration of an Asset
1. Asset Name- The user is required to input a name for the new asset.
2. Location Input- The user is required in input coordinates for the new asset. These coordinates must be defined by the Asset extent window on the right side of the Register asset window. Coordinates will be automatically set based on the center point of the area selected. The navigation and tools of the configuration window will be reviewed below.
- A. Extent Configuration- To define the asset extent, users can select a polygon or rectangular selection method. Both drawing methods required the user to click on the map to drop points for the rectangle or polygon.
- B. Map Navigation Tools- There are map tools available on the upper right portion of the window. Options described from left to right are: Search input to quickly navigate to a location, zoom in/out buttons, navigate to current location (if location services are enabled), and map layer selection options.
- C. Asset Extent Controls- The buttons in the lower center portion of the window allow the user to confirm selection, cancel selection, or remove/undo polygon selection points.
3. Cover Photo- Users can elect to upload a picture representing the project. This image will replace the default placeholder image illustrated above. The image must be in jpeg, .jpg, .or png. format and can not exceed 5MB in size.
4. Time Zone- Users can select the time zone of the asset.
Note: This time zone selection does not impact any settings within the Asset at this time.
5. Data Center Location- Users can select the location of the Data Center.

6. Team member Management- If the user wishes to be able to invite members outside of the organization to the project being created, the "Allow external team members" box should be checked.
