This article describes the steps to configure the user's settings. These settings are per-user and apply to all their iTwin assets and projects.

Measurement tools units

This setting allows the user to select the unit system to use in measurement tools. Choices are Metric, Imperial and US Survey.

In addition to choosing the unit system, the user can also select the specific unit of length for linear measurements.

Selected object highlight

This setting allows the user to define the color to use for highlighting the selected elements in the digital twin viewer.

Set GPU memory limit

This setting allows the user to set a limit to the amount of graphics memory consumed by the digital twin viewer. This setting is useful on computers that have limited GPU resources. It is set to 'No Limit' by default.
