Number of CONNECTION Passports in OpenAccess

It means unlimited in the sense that any additional passports used in excess of what is owned will be charged later. A Bentley sales representative can provide further cost details if needed for budgeting.

How a user can obtain an information how many CONNECTIONS Passports are owned by him? I spent quite long time to find such answer on web or using SELECTserver and OpenAccess web pages, but I failed.

I remember in old SELECT, for every MicroStation covered by SELECT, there was ProjectWise Passport available. I was not able to find any information whether this option still exists in OpenAccess and when yes, whether it applies to MicroStation only or any desktop product (like Bentley Map, PowerCivil etc). Why it's always so complicated to find any information related to licensing (I was not able to find any usefull page about CONNECTIONS Passport)?

I clearly wrote the budget is fixed at this case, so I don't see any option for budgeting discussion. I will forward the contact form to this customer to be informed about this option, but he is not English speaking guy (Czech only), so I am not sure whether the communication will be possible.

After consulting internally, I learned I was mistaken about the passports. Passports are not owned as I originally thought. My apologies for the confusion! Instead, passports are always utilized and billed later. This was the case even with ProjectWise Passports in the past. MicroStation licenses included passport licenses to provide access, but they were billed later when used.

To determine the number of passports currently utilized in a specified time period, a user with access to the SELECTserver administration site can generate a Passport Cumulative Usage report. This is done by selecting from the Reports drop-down menu:
Passport Usage Reports -> Cumulative Usage Report

The user's fulfillment document provided at contract renewal will show the number of passports billed for the previous year. To maintain the budgeted amount, use this number of passports or less.

Has the been any progress by Bentley in closing this vulnerability to unexpected passport usage by adding approvals for permission or denying permission to use passports?
