How to enable the Home Use License

I have gone through the process of getting the home use activation key and downloaded the latest version of OpenRoads Connect edition to my home computer.  After downloading and installing the latest software, I was prompted to log into the Connection Client, which I did.  When I opened the program for the first time and was prompted to activate the program. 

1. selected "SELECT subscriber with a deployed (local) SELECT Server" <Clicked Next>
2. entered selectserver-home.bentley.com in the server name text box
3. copied and pasted the Home Use Activation Key into the Site activation key text box
4. clicked "Test Connection"

I received notification that the Activation Key was no good.  I closed down OpenRoads and re-opened it.  Once I opened it the second time, I was not prompted to activate the software.  I believe perhaps that the software is pulling a license from our companies pooled licenses.  How can I tell whether or not the Home License is being used to operate the software on my home computer, or whether one of our pooled commercial licenses is being used?
