Our current deployed SelectServer (9.0.0.99) is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box with SQL*Server. The hardware is due to be refreshed. It will be replaced with a Windows Server 2016 box. I've downloaded SelectServer 9.1.0.31 for installation. I found information that indicates Windows 2016 will support that version of SelectServer. However, I could not find anything regarding the SQL*Server requirements. The download I got was a .msi file that when I tried to "install", said that no IIS was installed (true) and the process aborted. I was hoping to maybe have some documentation extracted that would provide further details on the SQL*Server requirements.
Can anyone clarify with version(s) of SQL*Server will work that this version of SelectServer?
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
SQL server 2016 is compatible with select server version 09.01.00.31. See the support communities link for technical requirements; https://communities.bentley.com/products/licensing/w/licensing__wiki/3099/deployed-selectserver-technical-requirements-tn
IIS is required before installing deployed select server.https://www.rootusers.com/how-to-install-iis-in-windows-server-2016/
