Hello,i have a lot of problems with the current "Connection Client" to connect over our internal proxy with username and password.Your manuals doesn't work or help.
So I spend a lot of time to become your complicated licensing products running...
Is there a possibility to enter the proxy settings with commands / program switches for the current user ?
Are GPOs available for this for example ?
The keys under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bentley\LicenseService" doesn't work when other users sign in, specially the encrypted "ProxyPassword"
Users also work sometime at home (without proxy), Does here a solution exist ? (Our users are not able to modify the settings by themself everytime they switch)
Why does the program not use the systemsetting like every other program can do ?

It's not possible.

If the user is using a VPN and has access to your proxy server it will still work, otherwise I will fail because it's looking for the proxy server if the user does not have access.

i solved the problem with bypassing userauthentification on proxy for *.bentley.com
