Hello All.
I would like to ask you for advice.
One month ago my PC was upgraded from W7 to W10. My borrowed license expired in the same time (I'm non-select user). And now when I want to borrow new license for next year (currently on W10) so process looks fine, license looks as borrowed but when I restart MicroStation so it isn't under new license and I'm in test for seven days.
I can try that again but result is the same - no new license for next year but only the test for 7 days.
Could somebody help me, please? ;-)
Thank you
Dan
PS: Microstation is V8i SS4 (8.11.9.833)

Your license for MicroStation appears to be checked out properly with a version number of 08.11.09.833. Please open MicroStation, and select License Management from the Utilities menu to open the License Management Tool. Click on the License Checkout tab. Do you see licenses for MicroStation and OpenCities Map PowerView listed in the bottom pane? This will determine whether a registry problem is causing the activation errors.
Hello jeremyhoesly.
Thanks but I only see Bentley Map PowerView. Borrowing of MicroStation isn't shown although your colleague released 1 piece of license and I have tried to borrow it again. Count of licenses was 2 after releasing and now is 1 but I don't see my borrowed license in the bottom panel and License Manager is still saying only 7 days test :-(
Okay, I suspect a registry-related issue. Please download and run the following batch file to manually clear all checkouts from the registry. Then check out licenses for both MicroStation and Bentley Map PowerView. Do they both appear on the bottom pane now? I have returned both licenses assigned to your machine on the server end.

Hi jeremyhoesly.
Thank you very much.
I used batch file for clening of registry and then I checked in both licenses (Bentley Map PowerView and Bentley MicroStation). Now everything looks much better.
Thank you once again.
