I support a user with Home User License which has been activated OK for over a year. In the last week or so he has been asked to activate the license each time he goes into MicroStation. I have checked on his PC and he correctly follows the activation procedure for "SELECT subscriber with a deployed (local) SELECT server". The process accepts his activation key and completes the set up saying" Your product activation is now complete. You may use your product." However when I check the License Management Tool the license still shows it as Offline and showing a reducing number of days. His internet works OK. Clicking the Activate tab in the License Management Tool changes nothing.
Can someone tell me what the problem is.

Please open the Home Use SELECTserver administration site, and select View License File from the License Management drop-down menu. Are the license expiration dates expired?
if they are expired how do we get new ones?
Can we still get home licenses for v8i ssX even if the company never applied for one before?
