What happened to my entitlement to MicroStation CONNECT? I can continue to use MicroStation V8i, which receives a valid license.
Why, in the wacky world of Bentley licensing, can I continue to use CONNECT Advisor, Connection Client and MicroStation V8i?
We have the same issue here, today. Half of our users cannot start CE. CC says everything is OK, entitlement Management rules are unchanged and OK, too.
I presumed this Maybe a Network issue at our Company, but since you have it too at the exact time... probably a Bentley issue really.
Seems to be global issue. We have now a hotline from our angry users and total production down for all CONNECTED users. Doesn't matter what settings are in entitlement Management rules even which are allowed for offline usage can't use the sotware.Do a Health check in Connection client and save it as evidence.
I did a heath check, and it stops after 'CC Logged in'... Nothing happens anymore.
seems like ~100 engineers here face the same issue. MS not able to launch. Thus it does not affect all users but likely the half of our workers.
we shall all check the SLAs in our contracts, wonder why we shall pay that much for such a unstable buggy service. How can it be that 100+ users can't work due to a external infrastucture issue. Gonna need to calculate that outage and charge to Bentley.
