I am planing to migrate AutoPlant Servers to the AWS Cloud. Currently the servers are residing on-prem.
As part of the migration process, we would have a staging area in the AWS Cloud to test out the Servers. For this purpose, we will probably have new hostnames/IP addresses for the servers. How are the existing licenses impacted?
What steps do I need to take to ensure that the software licenses continue to work in the AWS cloud for servers having updated hostnames/IP. Also, can we generate temporary licenses for the purpose of testing before the final cutover? Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks.
