Isn't one of the benefits of the Software Entitlement Service (SES) is that it will warn you if you are about to exceed your license count for the product you are opening?
It's my understanding the user will get some type of warning dialog, then be allowed to make the choice about opening the application and exceeding the count, or closing the application so no overage occurs.
We just got a bill for a an overage on a CONNECT Edition product that uses SES. The user received no such warning to prevent the overage.
Needless to say, the $1,000 unexpected bill from Bentley was not a pleasant surprise.
This happened to us as well! I reached out to the sales rep who helped us with purchasing the license and he was able to get the charges removed from our account, However I am now attempting to turn on the licence alert system (which we were previously unaware of) but am not having success actually triggering an alert once it has been set up.
