The SELECTserver license as expired

I'm receiving the error "The SELECTserver license as expired" on my Select Server. I've gone through the steps here: http://communities.bentley.com/products/licensing/w/licensing__wiki/3281.aspx but this has not fixed the issue. When I got through the step to request/update the license, I get the error "No sites found requiring update. SELECTserver will continue to use the existing license file."

version 09.00.00.37

Any ideas on my next step?

  • Hi rsakai2!

Could you try to run the Request/Update License process one more time and let me know the results?

  • I tried multiple times earlier with the same result.  When I try now I get the following error:

  • Hi,

Please e-mail me your site ID number so I can have the backend check for the actual license configuration. Unfortunatley I do not know who yu are your the specific site you represent. Drop that information to me a james.white@bentley.com . I will update you on my findings.

  • Hi,

Please also check your system date.  I had a user who changed his date to the future.  It saw that the current date off the license was multiple months prior to the date on the computer and claimed that it was outdated.  Once the system date was corrected, everything worked fine.

  • Thank you for the suggestion.  My date and time is correct already.
