    SELECTserver 9 Known Issues

    In rare cases, the installer will not be able to determine the available amount of disk space needed for installation.  

    • Close the installer and restart the installation process.  If the issue persists, reboot the machine and install from a fresh startup.

    On some Windows 2003 servers, users may see a message "Error Installing .NET 4.0"l and installation will fail to continue.

    • Open C:\BentleyDownloads\SELECTserver_09.00.00.##\SelectServerInstall.log
    • Look for a line which reads InstallerGUI_InstallDotNet40 - Status: if the status code is 5100 then Windows Imaging Components need to be installed.

    • Download and install the package for your machine and restart the SELECTserver installer.

    Data Update service failing Error Code 10026

    You may have recently noticed ERRORS relating to the Data Update service failing with Error Code 10026 - Could not update the support path information. Our development team has looked into this and has found a problem with the licensing web service. The Data Update is updating correctly, however it is displaying a false error. This will not cause any licensing issues for SELECTServer; product will report usage and activate as usual. The ERRORS can be ignored at this time. Development is currently working on resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    Gateway error 1053

    When installing the Gateway version 9.0, if .NET 4.0 is not installed the service will not start and error 1053 is displayed. The solution is to download and install .NET 4.0 and then start the Gateway service.
