MicroStation CONNECT Edition is constantly striving to lower barriers for DWG users to migrate their workflows to MicroStation. To provide a familiar way of operating software when DWG users transition to MicroStation, Update 15 now introduces several new AutoCAD shortcuts as key-ins in addition to the DWG key-ins that were already available.
The traditionally available key-ins for DWG shortcuts have also been updated. MicroStation now has key-ins for AutoCAD commands that have the corresponding implementation in MicroStation as well as new key-ins are now provided for commands which do not have an implementation in MicroStation. DWG users can now take advantage of about 60 key-ins that are now fixed, managed, adjusted, and added to correspond to DWG shortcuts in MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 15. In addition to incorporating DWG shortcuts as key-ins, MicroStation CONNECT Edition update 15 has updated RealDWG Libraries to support RealDWG 2021, which is the latest RealDWG Engine for best compatibility. It is noteworthy that MicroStation is the only application besides AutoCAD that supports RealDWG libraries.
