New in MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 17.2 –(Technology Preview) Table Style Manager.

With Update 17.2 you can now use the Table Style Manager dialog to capture a Table Style from an existing table or create a new Table Style using the dialog. This dialog is available in the Tables group in the ribbon.

Capture a Style

Follow these steps to capture a table style from the Table Style Manager

1. Select the Style Manager dialog from the ribbon.
2. The Style Manager dialog opens.

3. Click on Capture

4. Select a table you wish to capture and add a style to.

5. A new style is created in the Style Manager dialog.

Note: The default name for the style is Untitled. You can rename it.

6. Click Save. The added Table Style is displayed in the Place Table dialog and the Properties Dialog

Create a Style

Follow these steps to create a new table style using existing table.

1. Select the existing table whose appearance you wish to save as a style
2. Right-click on the table and select the Create Table Style option.

3. The Style Manager dialog opens.

4. A new style is created in the Style Manager dialog.

5. Type in a desired name for the table.

Note: The default name for the style is Untitled. You can rename it.

6. Click Save. The added Table Style is displayed in the Place Table Dialog and the Properties Dialog
