MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 9 introduces an handy enhancement in the new Shrinkwrapper Mesh tool: the "Skip simplification" option.
When toggled, this option skips the mesh simplification process that the tool computes at the end of its calculations.
This can be useful in some cases, when a mesh made of more regular mesh elements is required and this outweighs the benefits of a cleaner, simpler and more lightweight mesh.
