In this blog you will find a variety of performance improvements that were made in MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 16.1.
Placing a parametric cell after editing the variable value, took longer in Update 16 as compared to Update 16.1. Earlier it took about 3-4 seconds and now takes about a second or less.
The average time required in updating variations for a particular parametric component with multiple variations earlier took more time as compared to MicroStation Update 16.1. Clicking on the variation and applying the changes earlier took about 2-3 seconds and now can be done in a fraction of a second.
On selecting multiple elements with the Select Element method for VBA Macro (Visual Basic Application), the time required to do so has reduced as compared to previous updates of MicroStation. The performance of this feature has improved substantially which requires only a few seconds now.
