Support for Element Templates in Smart Match tool

The Smart Match tool (Match All Element Settings tool) is used to change all active element attributes to match with the attributes of an element in a design. In MicroStation Update 17 you can also set the active Element Template to match with that of an element in the DGN.

Earlier you could not match Element Template information while using SmartMatch. But now you can.

1. Select SmartMatch from the Change element Attributes drop-down (Drawing > Home > Modify).
   
   
2. Select the element with element template information.
3. The element template associated with the element is matched to reflect as the active element template along with other attributes.
