In SS2 when there was a link associated with an element nothing showed up on your monitor until you hovered over the element now there is a folder displayed at all the locations where there is a link associated with the element all the time is there a way to turn that feature off so that the only time the icon indicating a link shows up is when you hover over the element (like it was in SS2)? I did poke around in a few places where I thought that it might be but to no avail.
Look in the View Attributes (Settings > View Attributes) for Flag display!

is there a variable we can put into configs to have it always off without having to do it by hand everytime
also my bentley view users hate this too...

Thanks - the only difference was that in my View Attributes dialog it is called "Markers" but this did make me look harder at the View Attributes Dialog and once the Markers switch was turned off the "Flags" went away
Thanks again
Save Settings will hold the View Attributes so you can use a Seed file with this off. Saved Views will also hold this so you can recall a saved view. You can create a macro or vba that turns it off and you can run this at startup. You can place the keyin on a function Key or button and just hit the key to turn it off but I don't think there is a Variable you can set but someone may know of one.
keyin "Set Markers Off; Selview 1"
thanks
