Why is it impossible to open or reference attached dwg in AECOsim? : Grondplan SANITAIR tramwerkplaats.dwg(other dwg files are opening/referencing well, but all these from a specified subcontractor are giving trouble)
the file opens in ACad and Brickscad without any problem (created in ACad2014)in AECOsim ss4-ss6 it creates always an stack overflow and program crashwe need to attach these filesxrefs in the file are not the problem, opening with or without makes no difference.
who know haw to fix this, what can we say to our subcontractor to make the dwg files usefullwhat do we need to read this files in AECOsim
tried in SS4/SS5 and SS6 bim081109593en / bim081109747en / bim081109807en (win7 64b)tried to purge the dwgtried to install ACad civil object enablers
nothing works

I had a look and found 14 errors in the file and there seems to be something in one of the Layouts that doesn't allow AECOsim to open the file.
Please find attached the recovered file. FYI file has been recovered using AutoCAD.

I'm curious as how this file was created. In particular, a dimension style MAATGREN uses a block terminator MAATSTIP, which contains a dimension that uses the same dimension style. Is this done intentionally or is it simply an error? It seems odd that a dimension is placed inside of a dimension terminator. If you can fix this dimension style you should be able to open your file in SS3; otherwise you can open it in CONNECT.
