Hi whenever I get DWG from designers ( output from 12 D) and need to use it as a ref file its alway 1000 times too small, My ustn never asks me if its meters or mm the dwg file is unitless, I only work in meters for mu in mstn...
I know I just have to change the ref manager settings 1000 x but is there something I can tell the 12d guys to do before they export to DWG... I'm not sure if they can export to DGN... I'll have to go check 12D help on google...

The dwg-file is not unit-less, I bet. Let your AutoCAD designer input these AutoCAD Key-In : INSUNITSHe will see that it might say INSUNTIS = 4 which means DWG Unit = MillimetreIf you AutoCAD Designer create a DWT-Template-file (Seed) with an INSUNTIS = 6 Key-in, you and he will have a DWG Meter File.
