DWG in CONNECT edition

I have experienced problems with dwg references in the CONNECT edition (all the connect applications, Microstation, openroads, AECOsim.)

The connect editions are very slow when attaching dwg-files and very often crash. Sometimes it can take several minutes longer time to attach a dwg in CONNECT compared to V8i.

Have someone else exporienced this?

We also have a lot of issues with referencing dwgs in CE. For Example opening a 3D Master File with lots of large dwgs attached takes: - in MS-V8i SS4: : 5:40 Minutes - in MS-CE Update 9: 37:30 Minutes…

the problem is that i received the file maded in Autocad ( as i remember 2014 )
and i don't want to edit it - i just try to open it as reference or just open.

Old Microstation v8i open it fast but elements are in wrong positions etc... CONNECT open it correctly in place
but it takes many minutes

CONNECT is not showing all objects in DWG-files. Surfaces disappears or are shown as "wireframe". This is a big issue. I have filed a service ticket about this issue.

What is the status of this SR#7000611218

I have a lot of problems with MS CE updt 6 while reference a lot of DWG file, so I go back to SS4 :(
