Lidar, .Las data files

Question

I am Using FDOTSS4, Bentley Microstation PowerGEOPAK V8i ,attaching in PointCloud - .LAS files most seem to work but attached new ones they did not (convert Fail), 
 talked with my source no help, but did mention that the .las files were new and version 1.4. Any ideas?

Hello, Please be aware that Enhancement 521871 has been logged for the use of LAS files of version 1.4 in MicroStation. Regards Derval Canny.

Hi Ben, 
i would recommend requesting the older version of the .LAS files as the Enhancement is currently under review.

The enhancement has been approved but no date is available for when it will be implemented. 
 For those that have 1.4 Lidar data it is recommended to see the following article:
