How does Microstation CE handle DWG MTEXT with DWG multi annotation scale if they got saved to DWG by MS?
After some years using ACAD I'm trying to check if MS CE supports DWG features of the last 10 years . And DWG annotation scaling is one major feature.
Does Microstation CE destroy the DWG MTEXT elements or do it change them in anyway to some other concepts (like Shard Cell) if the MTEXT is saved back by MS to DWG?
If you open DWG file without making changes that cause your annotative objects to be updated, then they will stay as they are. If you make change on an annotative object and save file, that object will be updated from MicroStation annotation scale. Effectively it will have only one scale value. If the object is an MTEXT it will stay as MTEXT.
