We are currently working in DWGs and we want to place a centerline symbol with the autocad romans font. I can do this fine on my machine. However, when someone on a different machine tries to insert a symbol through the place text dialog, they get an error stating "No valid true type font found for romans". What does this message mean and how do I fix it?
thanks.
1) All users have access to the MS_TMP folder - it is actually one of the variables I have not touched so it goes under thier Documents and Settings folder
2) If I copy my generated font to other machines, things work as expected (the same as it does on my machine that is). As a side note here, for some reason other machines are not creating even the directory to contain these fonts. All permissions to create these files are ok also - all local users have full control or access to thier machines.
3) I have the Autocad fonts loaded in my machine (ie. the romans_ttf) as do the other people.
