Hi, I want to xref a dgn 3D model into an AutoCAD drawing with all the 3D elements/solids from dgn reflecting in the cad file. However, after successfully attaching the dgn 3D model, the 3D elements/solids are going off leaving behind some random lines & splines. Can any of you please suggest a solution?
What version (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation, or other product, are you using?

I am using version 08.11.09.867 and I want to attach the 3D model of dgn to an Autocad(dwg) file. (Version 2017 & 2018).

You're editing a DWG file using MicroStation V8i, and want to attach a 3D DGN model to that DWG, correct?

Can you attach a screenshot? Do you see random lines & splines at any other times — with other DGN files, for example? If you open that DGN file for editing, how does the model appear?
