I was wondering if anyone can advise on how to print the line-work last on the attached file so that the filled shapes are underneath. I had a pentable that worked in XM most of the time, assigning print priority to the shaded colours to print first. It doesn't seem to work in V8i.... :(

One way around that is to export your DWG file to a 2D DGN file, in which you can change element priority of these line elements. You can also open the DWG as a 2D model and turn on CAPABILITY_ELEMENT_PRIORITY to let you do the same change.
Thanks for that Don. It works okay ( I noticed in the 'capability list' there are 580 capabilities that are dormant awaiting us to apply or not. What is the reasoning behind this? Surely features such as element priority would be desirable?).
Also how would you bring the text in the attached 'active file' which has the file 'print priority' attached as a reference file to the front over the graphics? I have activated CAPABILITY_REFERENCE_PRIORITY to no effect. Thanks.
