I use V8i for design/drawing. I use an AutoCAD border file created by our Cadd Support team.
When I do a conversion from DGN to DWG, the text nodes from in the border file produce additional junk after the conversion. It adds a cross and numerical number. See image attached.
How do I stop this from happening?
Dont preview DWG s converted from DGN with USTN get free Autocad Trueview DWG viewer and you'll see what autocad users see and see if it loads properly.. you can even resave it over itself to get rid of the splash screen message "this was not created with an autodesk product..." it can even convert to older versions of acad for you on the fly in batch mode too...I still use ustn ss2 so I need it to convert acad dwgs to 2012 so I can open with ustn... but it still is handy for reverse process ie preview my conversions before I sent dwgs to clients....
