Hello.
I am a new user of MicroStation and my question is similar to that found in the post: http://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/273/t/90933.aspx?pi17283=1, however so far as I can see there is no universal answer to this question.
I am trying to capture Google Earth imagery from MicroStation, but cannot get the feature to work. When I enter a data point nothing happens.
System info:
Windows 7 Professional
Google Earth v 7.1.2.2041
MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 2)
Thanks
Actually it is Google earth terrain model not imagery, image is applied as texture and can be seen in rendered view. Also it only works in 3D files.
Okay thanks. I just assumed it was an image because the tool says "Capture Google Earth Image". The file is 3D but nothing happens.
To mr Jones Rones from John Kapopoulos
a) I used to do all above procedure in windows 7/32 bit. (Darilos' probem above) Now, in windows 7/64 bit , in windows 8/64 bit and in windows 8.1/64 bit the geografic tool box is inactive, except the import coordinate system and create kmz file tools. (Google Earth 7.0 or 7.1) Any idea please?
b) How can we use the Attach Oracle GeoRasters? Must we subscribe to Oracle to be provided with usernames and codes for particular areas?
Thank you for your answer.
Thanks for the video. I tried to capture the image but the elevations in the terrain aren't logical. when I rotate the mesh, I get a non-organized shape as some points have very high elevations. The first attachment is a plan and the next one taken when I try to rotate it. if you know a solution to this problem, I'll be so grateful.
