Description: MicroStation can be customized to fit anyone’s need. The capabilities include customizing for an individual, a department, an office and an entire organization. It is possible to have these all work in harmony. Getting started there are many easy customizations to MicroStation. Starting with creating your own favorite tool bar or menu, allowing easy access to your most commonly used commands. You can then add tools that are available only as key-ins or from previous versions of MicroStation, like Tangent Circle to 3 objects. The idea is to keep the most important tools to you close at hand.
To get maximum benefit from this Special Interest Group “flipped classroom” meeting, registrants will be assigned to watch some free videos introducing customization in MicroStation. Questions can then be posted on Be Communities. The webinar itself will briefly go over the assigned videos, and then will answer any questions that have been posted or asked during the webinar.
