The MicroStation product team is pleased to announce the availability of Bentley View V8i SELECTseries 4 on Fulfillment Center. This version of Bentley View V8i SELECTseries 4 leverages the Bentley CONNECTION Client to enable you take advantage of Bentley Cloud Services.

Please follow these steps to download MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 4:

Sign in to Bentley.com
Browse to Support
Select Go To Portal
Choose Software Downloads from "My Support"
Select the Brand MicroStation and then the Generations of V8i.
Browse to the Bentley View section.
Download the latest release by clicking on the arrow to expand the selection and then on Bentley View V8i version 08.11.09.829.

Does this version still allow users to copy to clipboard, fro pasting elsewhere?

This version does have the capability for you to copy to clipboard and to paste to another drawing that does have write access to it. This functionality was actually a defect that was fixed with the Bentley View CONNECT Edition since it is a view-only application.

And that's the reason why wont be installing the CONNECT version of View. Having the ability to copy to clipboard is perfect for exchanging data between models.
