MicroStation CONNECT Edition SDK Update 3

The MicroStation SDK team is pleased to announce the availability of the MicroStation CONNECT Edition SDK x64 Update 3 (10.03.00.30).  Please refer to the "What's New Highlights" section below for any major updates and enhancements.

What's New Highlights

• This release is a lock-step incremental update that has no application impacts, changes, or requirements present to report
• This SDK version is in lock-step with the MicroStation product release vresion, to ensure software developers can more easily identify which product and SDK version to install
• There is no requirement to recompile existing MicroStation CONNECT Edition MDL applications compiled and linked using a previous of the SDK
• This update release is binary and source code compatible with the prior update releases.

Requirements

• Closely matching MicroStation CONNECT Edition product version
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Professional (latest patches) used for creating native (C/C++) and managed code (.NET add ins) MDL applications

Release Notes

• MicroStation SDK releases are typically available for download within 2 weeks of a respective MicroStation product release
• To ensure maximum application compatibility and stability of your applications:
  • Make sure to use the latest MicroStation CONNECT Edition SDK and a (closely) matching MicroStation product version
  • It is highly recommended to recompiling existing applications for each new MicroStation product and SDK update release
  • If Breaking Changes are announced, MDL applications will require recompilation
