During this complimentary session, you will learn how to define a GCS within an active model, leverage the GCS to place design graphics, and incorporate data coming from other formats, such as GIS shape files and AEC data. The agenda will include how to:

  • Understand a GCS and access Geographic tools 
  • Assign a GCS 
  • Use an Auxiliary Coordinate System (ACS) and GCS
  • Attach reference data using a GCS
  • Reproject design data
  • Create a GCS from placemarks
  • Work with Latitude/Longitude coordinates and the National Grid
  • View a location in Google Maps
  • Export to Google Earth (KML/KMZ) and capture imagery 
  • Georeference PDF files

Registered attendees will join the session as Guests and automated attendance will reflect participation to each attendee's Bentley Transcript for self-reporting.
