Many of us use 2D-based custom line styles every day, but as our work becomes more 3D based, the need for 3D line styles grows. It is becoming increasingly important to display guardrail, traffic separator, handrail, railing, and fence representations in full 3D geometry. Topics in this session will include how to create, store, and place 2D/3D line styles in standard and rendered views and:

• Create the geometry
• Store the line style
• Apply line style components — Stroke, Point, and Compounds
• Create the line style 
• Place the line style
• Visualize the line style
