Bing Map Support in Scalable Meshes
Scalable mesh files (.3sm) can now be textured with Bing Maps.
Change Element Attributes Added to the <Space> Pop-up
The change element attributes tool button is now added to the pop-up that opens with the <space> key, making the tool more convenient to access and use.
You can now Publish iModels and Print PDF's directly to ProjectWise Share when you are in a CONNECTED Project making the availability of these files to all project team members. This functionality replaces the deprecated Publish and Print to Personal Share option.
You can now import, attach, or place an RFA file that was created in Revit 2018.
Technology Previews
The Text Favorite Manager allows a more efficient way to create, edit, manage and delete text favorites. The Text Favorite Manager also expands support for element property types to provide a reusable property driven annotations.
The Place Label Cell Filter by Element allows the Place Label tool to display the cell that are available to be used by the element type that is selected.
You can now submit comments or suggestions about MicroStation PowerDraft using the Feedback service in the File > Backstage menu within PowerDraft. You can also share your email address for our team to contact you in case of any clarifications.

If you currently have MicroStation PowerDraft CONNECT Edition already installed on your computer, you can incrementally download and install MicroStation PowerDraft CONNECT Edition Update 8 from the CONNECTION Client. MicroStation PowerDraft CONNECT Edition Update 8 will replace any earlier versions of MicroStation PowerDraft CONNECT Editions and update it to MIcroStation PowerDraft CONNECT Edition Update 8. Sign into the CONNECTION Client to view and apply your Application updates. If needed, please refer to the CONNECTION Client help for more information on installing the update.
If you would like the setup executable of PowerDraft CONNECT Edition x64 (Full) Update 8, please follow these steps to download it from Fulfillment Center:
1. Sign in to connect.bentley.com
2. Choose Software Downloads from "My Support" section.
3. Select the Brand PowerDraft and then select the Generation of CONNECT Edition.
4. Download the latest release by clicking on the arrow to expand the selection and then on PowerDraft CONNECT Edition x64 Update 8 version 10.08.00.41
