The MicroStation product team is pleased to announce the availability of MicroStation CONNECT Edition x64 Update 11 (10.11.00.36) on Software Downloads and for update through the CONNECTION Client. This version of MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 11 utilizes CONNECT Licensing so that users can take full advantage of administering and managing their licenses.

Units Selection Support when Export to FBX

• Select the units for the exported file in the FBX Export Settings Dialog

Technology Preview

• • Item Types Import/Export to Excel  -You can now export and import Item Type definitions and instances to and from Excel files using the Item Type Import/Export tool.
  • Associative Elements and Associative Extraction tool  - You can now extract faces and edges from a parametric solid using the Associative Extraction tool. The extracted faces and edges will maintain association with the parent solid.
  • Named Presentations - You can use Named Presentations to represent different symbology for an element in different view orientations. For example, a door can be represented differently in top, front/rear elevation and isometric views.
  • Perforators - You can now use parametric solids to create Perforators. Perforators act as cutting elements on any target element and create a cut in the target element based on their profile.

Update

If you currently have MicroStation CONNECT Edition already installed on your computer, you can incrementally download and install MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 11 from the CONNECTION Client. MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 11 will replace any earlier versions of MicroStation CONNECT Editions and update it to MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 11. Sign into the CONNECTION Client to view and apply your Application updates.   If needed, please refer to the CONNECTION Client help for more information on installing the update.

If you would like the setup executable of MicroStation CONNECT Edition (Full) x64 (CL) Update 11, please follow these steps to download it from Fulfillment Center:
    1. Sign in to connect.bentley.com               
    2. Choose Software Downloads from "My Support" section.
    3. Select the Brand "MicroStation".
    4. Download the latest release by clicking on the arrow to expand the selection and then on MicroStation CONNECT Edition (Full) x64 (CL) Update 11 version 10.11.00.36
