I have been working on our cell library when I had noticed some text was completely off. When I went to change it to our standard (arial) there were multiple types (bentley aria, true text bold, true text narrow, and @MS arial unicode) when trying to use symbols, there are complete differences from file to file with the same text. For example. using the degree symbol (code \176) should give a small bubble, but in some cases I get the ^ instead. Other times it will tell me there is no true text to go along with the font. This is inconsistent as well from file to file. When reading on how to import new fonts, I saw that the functionality has been taken out in my version. My question would be 1) how to get a new text into these files and 2) how to put this text into my workspace; as I have the two symbol T "arial" and many other forms of arial but nothing works consistently but the aforementioned twin T. According to the Bentley forums, If this text was put in when the drawing was started (on an older computer running 2004 version of V8) then there can be differences, such as this text not being able to be matched properly, etc.
