I have a copy of MicroStation95 that won't install on my 64-bit Windows 7 machine...

With all the changes that have been done to Windows and MicroStation over the past twenty years, it is unlikely that MicroStation 95 will install or work properly on Windows 7. That said, if you are Bentley SELECT subscriber, you can obtain a current release of MicroStation that is certified and supported for use on the Windows OS you are using.

Thanks Phil.  The copy I have is a Home Use copy that I've been hanging onto for about 18 years.  It was strictly for personal use for home projects (decks, plans to finish basement) and stuff like that, so I can't really justify purchasing SELECT support for something like that.  I appreciate your fast response, though.

I thought of trying that - got MS95, PD5.5, BricsWork2 and Triforma 1. Museum time!

isnt there a way to install win 95 as a dual boot partition so you can run win 95 or win 7 at boot toogle  or maybe an external drive has win 95 and boot off cd with win 95 ...google Hirems tools disk  ..

I was able to do this with xp and 95 in the old days...

other wise get an old pc from the Goodwill store , saint vinies or cash convertors or your . my garage pentium II still runs ( win 95 or xp era) and instal 95 and mstn 95 just on that machine..
