do you ( a) want to label a point with a leader and the point is the coordinates.. or do you just (b) want to label the coordinate of a data point..
If (a) then you can create a cell with place holder mark pen has made greatblogg tutorial and there was a video but links gone
its the section on place holder
basically you make a leader and assign a active point to the end of the leader then you assign a text field whose values are the XY of the point you prefix with N & E and get the x & y to populate the field... now save as a cell you now have a label coordinates cell with callout leader...
and it should work where ever you place the cell it should label the xy..
if (B) then keyin
label point or
TOOL> dimensions>xyz tool pallet...

Are you trying to annotate the coordinate points in Northings and Eastings. It is important that you attach the correct GCS, and the tool , Label Point will help you to label the points. Customise the X / Y prefix as required. Maybe this image will help. (Here- MicroStation SS3 is used)
HTH.
If you just want an annotated map grid there are macros around that work very well we have one thats public domain or you can make your own with the copy parallel and tentative mouse button to get the coordinates of you lines and work out the offsets to make nice round numbers.. but since you want to be anonymous by not filling a bio with an email address, not even Gmail then we cant share it with you can we......but if you google this forum for Grid label , grid tool , grid macro I may have posted a copy of it before...
