Description: This MicroStation SIG event will discuss some of the other Bentley software that is built on MicroStation technology, i.e. PowerInRoads, PowerGEOPAK, PowerDraft, Bentley View, Bentley Navigator, Bentley Map, Bentley Descartes, AECOsim Building Designer, etc.
One of the strengths of Bentley software is that when a person has learned MicroStation, it is very easy to move to one of the variants. In fact, if a person learns MicroStation PowerDraft, they can move to MicroStation and only need learn 3D commands. If that person is a building designer, moving to AECOsim Building Designer only requires learning the discipline commands. Or, to move to PowerInRoads only requires learning the road design commands.
