"Using old version" pop up in internet explorer causing crash. (11.7.443)

The internet explorer window opens as I try to open a file as the file is loading. It prompts me to update my version of microstation (on Bentleys website in the pop up) as I am using an older version of microstation. The update pop up only comes up intermittently, It did not come up yesterday but it did the first thing this morning. The last time it came up was not quite a week ago. I do not use internet explorer, it is only on my station in order to access certain DOT websites, but it was the default web browser that was set to open for the pop up. It asks me to set internet explorer as my default web browser in the bottom of the pop up. If it comes up again I will be certain to take a screen cap and post it here.

It would seemingly be an advertisement (reminder) that I am using an outdated version and it wants me to get a newer version.

Thanks... that looks like a pretty straightforward install. Next questions... is this something that just started happening? Or has it been going on for a while? What type of computer and OS are you running on? Did something recently change on your system? (like an OS SP install, or new software package, etc.) Is this a fresh/new install of MicroStation?
