Is there a mvba or mdl that will increment text alpha? We are using V8i and some of our users are looking for it. My name is Bill Pelino and I am the local support here at Dominion Virginia Power. We need this to label steel members in a table. This was available before however we haven' been too successful in finding it in V8i. This would change and copy 1A to 1B such as the change text by increment changes and copies A1 to A2. Please let me know.

Here's how to increment text using VBA. It satisifes your second question 'copies A1 to A2'. The VBA project includes source code, so you're free to adapt it to specialist requirements.
