Using V8i SELECT series 3 Ver 08.11.09.459 and I cannot get SINGLE CLICK - LOCKED in user preferences LOOK and FEEL to stay locked on elements. ie to move an element more than once I have to select it before every move. Tried re-installing and tried different PC. I have read about others having this problem but have not seen any solution yet.
I have those settings also esc key disable I have accudraw and accusnap set and my powerselector s default first left top and first left bottom
I click once on select tool then data point a single element highlights and hold the data Left mouse button down to drag element where I want it. if I let go its still in selection set so I can keep moving it..
If you cant do this then maybe Rmb menu ( select previous) until you work out why not working or maybe a keyin on your favorite F key..
Maybe your user.upf is corrupt make copy and delete then restart mstn and let mstn create new upf if still doesnt work then delete new and restore old file or just set up the screen and pallets how you like with nice new shiney upf file...

Before doing something that could very well be more problematic (i.e. deleting your user preference), is the user preference setting itself staying the same (i.e. Single Click: Locked)? Or is that changing? If it is staying the same, have you tried changing Preferences > Input > Click Sensitivity? Also, are you using MicroStation without any add-on applications?
I Hope This Helps Someone Reading This! (Intergraph>PseudoStation>MicroStation user since 1980's)
