Place Note - Curved Leader Terminator Flipping

MicroStation PowerDraft V8i - Version 08.11.09.459 
 
 When using the place note tool with curved leaders, is there a reason that the terminator will flip when the note is moved? The terminator also flips when creating notes sometimes when you are snapping to objects. This becomes very frustrating when moving details to fit on sheets.

Thank you for supplying the video of your workflow. This looks quite unusual and should not be occurring. I have not been able to replicate what you are seeing using default design files and the same settings in the dimension style for the note you are placing. Would it be possible for you to supply an example design file you might use that contains the customized Dimension Style you have created. Also, have you tried creating a new design file that is not based on your own seed files?

Thanks for supplying these two design files. I can now replicate what you are seeing with the terminator and curve on this note. Looking at the properties for both of these design files I cannot see what may be the cause of this issue. I would suggest replacing the seed file used to create the design file that is having the problem with the one that is working properly. 
 
Looking up previously logged defects I have found Defect Report # 7868 (old TR # 238824) which covers exactly what has occurred with this design file. If you wanted to be notified of any updates to this Defect you would need to raise a new Service Request and I could connect your SR with this Defect.

Hello, 
I see that you are using a custom Dimension Style, could you try the same steps using a default dimension style? 
Does the same issue occur? There may be an issue with your Dimension Style.
