Hi everyone!
I have a problem with Microstation v8i (SELECTseries 3). I have used the program on the same computer for a time now but now it started to not save changes I have done in the file. For example: I have the color green on a line in a reference file. I attach this file in another file and the color is now yellow. I have to Update to levels to get the right color. I have tried to save through ctrl+f and the save button. When I open the file again the color changes back to the wrong color.
Thanks!

Hello Seham,
There are configuration variables and possibly a Key-in that may cause this. I am not clear on your workflow. Are you, for example;
Or have you a different workflow with nested references involved?

Why not provide both — it's faster than asking the question 8-)
What Conor requested is the snapshot of the level dialog but without the popup menu. The menu in your screenshot is hiding essential information!

Hello Conor,
I have noticed that there is another file that I have the same problem with. This is one of the files:
This was resolved by modifying the variable MS_LEVEL_AUTO_SYNC_ATTRIBUTE_LIST as mentioned above. This had been set in a local config file. The following values were removed from the variable:
ByLevelSymbology, ReferenceByLevelSymbology, ByLevelColor, ReferenceByLevelColor
For more information on the variable MS_LEVEL_AUTO_SYNC_ATTRIBUTE_LIST, see the Support Solutions article Overriding and Resynchronizing Level Attributes
