Excel link not update in Microstation

Are your spreadsheets attached via the Link function? If that's the case, they wouldn't display in Microstation - you'd get a literal link that you could click on that would open your spreadsheet in Excel. So I'm assuming you've got them attached as reference files - in which case, right-click on your spreadsheet via the "Reference Manager" and choose "Reload Reference" after you've made your changes in Excel. That should do the trick.

I am not understand as well, but let me show you some i did and i will as you what is your step abov:
This what i did:
In Excel, I select "Cell" containing formular and hit copy.
In Microstaion ==> Edit==> Past Special==> Embedded Microsoft Excel Worksheet
and when i updated something in Excel, it nothing in Microstation.

here is what i would like to ask you:

I am not clear about this, I didn't see " Reference Manager" ... i am sorry about this and if you can make clearly more, it is very great and thanks for your kindness about this.

Hmm, I have to apologize - I had thought that .qpw and .xls were supported reference formats - but it looks like they aren't. What information exactly are you trying to attach? Do you want to just attach the spreadsheet itself - or are you trying to use information that's contained within the spreadsheet to update your design file? Give me a better idea of what you want to accomplish.

What you did when you Pasted from the Windows Clipboard using the "Embedded Microsoft Excel Worksheet" was to place an Excel Worksheet into the MicroStation file. There is no linkage to the original Excel file. That information (Worksheet) you pasted, does not exist outside that MicroStation file. What you should have chosen was "Linked MicroSoft Office Excel ..." Then the information you pasted is linked to the original file and would display in the Edit > Links dialog. and would update with an update to the original Excel file.

The automatic update an external excel file  embeded by link to msnt has  never worked its a bug. 

It will only  do it  if you force it manually  by update links manually... see post I did ages ago for lots of information,,, look for my reply  Lorys...
