MDL Loader : could not.... in Microstation

Dear All,

We have issue that, when we launch Microstation, this error all time appear, please help to fix this annoying:

  • Do you also have InRoads, GEOPAK or MX installed? If so, can you please tell us the version numbers of both the civil product and MicroStation? Does this error occur when launch MicroStation alone or only when you first launch the civil product?

  • Some of machines load both " Geopak and Microstation" and " ProjectWise V4" , but my machine only Microstation, but same error! my current micrstation version is V8i SS2 08 11 07 443 and other machines are V8i SS3 version 08.11.09.655

For my machine everytime when i launch it.. error always appear
For other machines same too..every launching!

    Thanks

  • I can tell you that the files listed as not being found are in the value of your Microstation variable MS_DGNAPPS, which is defined somewhere in your CFG or UCF or PCF files.

I'm not sure where else to search, where locating these files is concerned. My first guess is that the files aren't located where they should be, but I don't know what variable holds that path.

This article has some information related to msdebug.txt that you might be asked to upload: communities.bentley.com/.../8879.msdebug-file. It might be worth exploring that file for MS_DGNAPPS and any other variable Microstation has. The final value of each variable is at the bottom of the file; everything above the file tells you what the variable is at the time that the processor ran across that line of the CFG/UCF/PCF.

  • This version of MicroStation V8i (08.11.09.655) is usually installed as a dependency of a recent release of InRoads, Geopak or Descartes.
The following Wiki regarding some issue relating to this version should be of assistance.

The files listed as not being found are in the value of your MicroStation variable MS_DGNAPPS.
This would be defined somewhere in your .cfg, .ucf or .pcf files.

I think it looks like your  IT dept or CAd manger has one generic install for msnt and  verticals like bentley  civil as you said you only  have  msnt ..

you can check your workspace config against others and see if they  are the same  yours should not mention the other applications..
