Hi,
I am placing dimensions in a sheet model: Dimension Element-->Label Line. My problem is that the text is rotated so that it reads to the left hand side of the sheet in one instance, and toward the right hand side of the sheet in another. This is all the same everything - dimension style, text style, everything. Chances are I placed the opposing dimensions during the same command execution. How can I force mstn to 1 - make them all read the same way. And 2 - ultimately I want to further control it by having them all read to the left. Reversing line direction is not an option if it reverses the direction of the angle label. I further want total control - I don't want to have to redraw half of the lines because mstn doesn't allow for flexibility with control. I'd rather place text elements.
thanks for any advice you can give me.

OK, I rotated a line 180^ and the text rotated, too, but then the angle label changes by 180^. Unacceptable. I can rotate the text itself without touching the line, but the angle label changes by 180^. Unacceptable.
What sort of alignment have you defined in your Dimension Style that is being used with the Label Line tool? I would think that using View alignment should work as you would want.
As you can see with the two vertical lines I have placed to the right, these have both been placed aligning top to bottom then bottom to top. The Label Line dimension text is displaying the same for both.
Is it possible for you to supply an example design file that contains these Label Line dimensions with their associated Dimension Styles.
