Dgn Corrupted?

This morning I opened a dgn and it appears totally wacked out. Certain text is weird, lines are weird, it's such a mess that it's hard to say just what is messed up - because things appear in different places than they are. I opened my sheet model dgn and the plan view reference and they are all messed up.

See attached before (from a pdf) and after screen captures. Can anyone advise me where to begin to look for problems before I start to cry? I ran mstn last week and everything was fine. Since then I updated the video driver - a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295. I suspect it has to do with this. I am not sure which driver version was installed before. Is there a database somewhere that shows the last stable release for this card and MS V8i? Running Win7 64bit. thanks.

  • OK, it was the video driver. I rolled it back and it worked. Do not know if Bentley cares, but mstn was the only software that had issues with the driver update. I had updated to version 341.44, rolled back to 8.17.12.9670

A wacky screen appearance caused by bad graphic card drivers is the cause of regular posts here.  For example: see this post.

I'm sure they do, since it stops their flagship product behaving correctly.  But the cause of the problem is NVidia, not Bentley.
